i've been officially living here in Australia for the past 4 months... yes , i know its hasnt been THAT long yet, but if you have a really awesome family and wild friends back home, you'd really start missing your it after like three days. But yeah, my point-- i miss the Philippines ALL the time. well, not all the time, maybe when i see pictures of my friends (especially summer pictures) hanging around, drinking and laughing OR when i get to talk to my family DURING Sunday lunches and they tell me what they're having... chewing while talking to me. ugh.
i just always wish that i was home at that moment.
ANYWAY, this first semester really changed me, although im still not sure if it changed me for the better. haha but i do know that i've become very independent compared to when i was in college. i cant even believe that i can iron and wash my own clothes... and cook. now i just have to learn how to drive...
BACK TO MY POINT. what i really wanted to say was that missing all these "happenings" back home and wishing to be there really sucked, but SKYPE helped me survive. and this is why i love technology in general. it makes living abroad easier to deal with. because even though im not physically present, i still get to see my friends and see what my family's eating. and for now, that will do.so for all the people that i've been skyping with, you're pretty much here. and im super thankful that you had the time to go and update me with your lives, and as for the ones who i havent had a skypedate with (you know who you are), im still waiting.
note: i would like to mention that i did not get to take pictures of my other skypedates. (with stacy, dave, and josef)
